Going to for a run and hopefully will have something exciting to say!  I was super lazy this week, but ok no really good excuse…it did suck that I I was HELLA stiff after my run last week, but I bought some bananas and will go for a short run right now and see what’s shakin’

Wow. I worked out a lot this week.  Hope to see some results!!

Today was my last bootcamp.  I didn’t bike to it.

Warm up: 5min run

Circuit:  (first set 1min 45seconds each, secondary exercise 30seconds)

  • downward dog, leg raised and lowered push up
  • secondary: push ups – 20sec normal, 10sec double time
  • low jumping jacks (stay in low squat position, arms outstretched)
  • secondary: side planks with hip dip (30seconds each side)
  • squat with overhead press (5lbs)
  • secondary: spider mountain climbers (legs to outside of elbows)
  • step ups (HIGH!) holding 10lb weights in each hand
  • secondary: plank
  • 1 leg bomber sit ups
  • secondary:
  • football side hurdles

We then had to do this awful exercise where you crouched down like a sprinter, one knee one leg bent, other knee on ground behind foot, hands on ground in front.  Straighten back leg 8 times (try it – it sucks).  From the 8th push up and sprint 20m, touch ground, run backwards back to start.  2minutes.

Round 2 – Primary for 1min, secondary for 30seconds.  Cardio at end, 1min.

Finish with 5 mins stretching.
So, although today was a great class – it just hasnt been enough.  I am going to stay motivated though!

Oh and my grand finale: 45 minute bike home today! I also bike 10  minutes to the bus in my pencil skirt – possibly flashing my whoowhoo to all who were awake, but that was more entertainment than exercise!
